Barack Obama admits 'dangerous stalemate' on debt as blame game deepens

President Barack Obama has admitted that America faces a "dangerous stalemate" over how to prevent the country defaulting on its debt, as he and John Boehner, the top Republican in Congress, blamed one another for the impasse on national television.
