Air Pacific cancels orders for 8 Boeing 787s

SEATTLE — Boeing says that Fiji airline Air Pacific has canceled orders for eight 787s, a jetliner whose debut has been delayed by about three years. Boeing Commercial Airplanes spokesman Miles Kotay in Seattle says the order was valued at $1.5 billion. He says Boeing and Air Pacific continue to talk about replacing its wide body fleet.
